Why should a global company choose Sweden?

International investments create growth and many jobs in Sweden. How does large global companies reason when they choose where to invest and where to expand? Where are the opportunities to attract even more companies to invest in Sweden and how we can identify and remove barriers?

Meet the ABG, Aditya Birla Group, one of India's largest industrial conglomerate with a value of 30 billion USD and over 130,000 employees. Earlier this year they acquired Domsjö factories in Ornskoldsvik. Meet also General Electric, one of the world's best-known multinational companies, which among other things, invested in the Swedish life science and wind energy.

David vs Goliath - How do Swedish innovations get to the global market?

Partnerships with international companies is an increasingly important way to expand their business for young Swedish innovative companies. Partnering with the right industrial partner can result in both a development potential as well as access to new markets. How can globalization be a win-win for both David and Goliath?

For a young Swedish innovation company, contacts with international companies has become an important way out of the world. Business Networking and relationships are becoming increasingly critical. Many times, companies must enter into partnerships before the business can grow. The recent business research, as well as our own experience at Invest Sweden clearly shows this.
