China’s largest networking and telecom equipment company Huawei has set up its second Swedish R&D center in Göteborg with the focus on microwave and radio frequency development. Huawei placed its first level-one R&D center outside from China in Kista, Stockholm, in 2005 with the focus on next generation wireless technology. Huawei chose Sweden due to its position as a leading ICT nation and forerunner within R&D and innovation.
