Tieto Sweden disclosed that work is currently underway on the construction of what it classifies as a state-of-the-art datacenter in an underground cavern/bunker property that the company acquired from the Swedish Fortifications Agency (SFA) for an undisclosed amount.
TelecityGroup is to begin a phased launch of a second Stockholm data center in the first half of 2009. When complete the data center will provide approximately 4 megawatts of customer power in 2,800 square metres of customer space. TelecityGroup expects to invest around ı29 million in the project, its 23rd European facility.
