The electricity sources are practically fossil fuel free and large investments is currently taking place to further improve the infrastructure and cover future demands from the industry.

Latency to Amsterdam from southern Sweden is approximately 7 ms and from northern Sweden approximately 30 ms. Other important connection points like St Petersburg and Moscow have a latency of approximately 16 ms and 28 ms respectively from northern Sweden.
